Attribute System

Basic Information

The Attribute system was added to the game in The Kamael update. On seasonal servers, the Attribute system is introduced when you Gracia content β€” opening Crystal Isle (Isle of Prayer) and Hellbound.

The Attribute System significantly increases the character's damage and elemental damage protection. We recommend considering the influence of the Attribute System on your character's strength to play effectively at high levels.

There are 2 types of Attributes β€” stones and crystals. Attributes are generally obtained by farming Raid Bosses, defeating high-level monsters, and completing high-level instance zones. You can see the complete drop list in the corresponding section on the item page:

Insertion and deletion

When using an Attribute, weapons gain the Attribute's elemental attack and armor gains protection from the opposite element. For example:

  • If you use Fire Stone Fire Stone NG on your weapon β€” weapon will receive an attack of the Fire Attribute
  • If you use Fire Stone Fire Stone NG on your armor β€” armor will get protection from Attribute of Water

The first stone adds 20 Attribute units to the weapon, all subsequent stones add 5 units each. The first and subsequent stones add 6 Attribute units to armor.

The chance of successfully inserting an Attribute is 50%.

Attribute stones can be inserted into weapons of B-grade and above, and armor of A-grade and above:

Equipment Slots For 1 stone Maximum
Weapons of B-grade and above 1 slot 5 units 150 units of stones
300 units of crystals
A grade armor* 1 slot 6 units 30 units of stones
60 units of crystals
Armor of S grade and above* 1 to 3 slots** 6 units 60 units of stones
120 units of crystals
each slot
Cloak 1 slot 6 units 30 units of stones
60 units of crystals

* Full armor (chest+legs) has 2 slots for Attribute insertion.

** Depending on the stage of server development.

For 2 or more slots, the rule is:

Of the six paired Attributes β€” [Water-Fire], [Wind-Earth], [Sanctity-Darkness] β€” you can insert one Attribute from each pair. You cannot insert two opposing Attributes into an item at the same time, such as Water and Fire.

How to insert an Attribute into equipment:

  • Click on an Attribute stone or crystal to add an elemental effect to your equipment
  • In the window that opens, select the desired item, specify the number of stones you want to spend and click OK
  • The system will automatically insert the specified number of stones and show the result with detailed information

To remove an Attribute from equipment, contact NPC Human Yin Attribute Master in Aden, Human Yang Attribute Master in Rune, or Human Yo Attribute Master in Arcane.

Damage calculation

To figure out how much bonus damage a target takes, you need to find the difference between the attacking ATT of the damage character and the defensive ATT of the character being attacked:

  • 0-19 β€” no bonus
  • 20-49 β€” smooth +8% to +20% damage increase
  • 50-149 β€” static +20% damage boost
  • 150-299 β€” static +40% damage boost
  • 300+ β€” static +70% damage boost

Impact Skills

It's important to remember that it's not just weapon inlay that gives attribute attack, but also enhancing skills such as: Holy Weapon Holy Weapon Lv. 1 or Seed of Wind Seed of Wind Lv. 1 . In addition, enchanting a skill to attack with also increases the attack Attribute.

Pay attention!

The difference between the attacking Attribute and the defense Attribute also affects the passing of elemental debuffs.

Attribute in a weapon that matches the Attribute of your character's main debuff will increase its success chance. For example: Bladedancer to increase the success chance of passing a skill Rhythm of Medusa needs to be enhanced in the weapon Earth attribute.

You can find out which Attribute affects a skill in the skill window that appears when you hover over the icon.

Increase for second class skills:

  • Skill +1 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 1
  • Skill +2 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 3
  • Skill +3 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 5
  • ...
  • Skill +11 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 18
  • Skill +12 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 20
  • Skill +13 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 21
  • ...
  • Skill +22 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 36
  • Skill +23 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 38
  • Skill +24 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 40
  • ...
  • Skill +28 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 46
  • Skill +29 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 48
  • Skill +30 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 50

Increase for third class skills:

  • Skill +1 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 4
  • Skill +2 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 7
  • ...
  • Skill +8 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 27
  • Skill +9 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 30
  • ...
  • Skill +14 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 47
  • Skill +15 β€” Attack Attribute increased by 50

Example 1

Character A (attacker) β€” Sorcer:

  • 150 ATT of fire in the weapon
  • Seed of Fire, 20 ATT of fire
  • Prominence, 20 ATT of fire
  • Total: 190 attack ATT

Character B (target):

  • 30 ATT of Water in armor, which grants +30 to defense against ATT fire

Calculate the damage boost: 190 - 30 = 160. Look at the graph and get +40% to the damage on the target.

Example 2

Character B wasn't happy with the amount of extra damage he was taking, so he decided to improve his equipment a bit. Now:

Character B (target):

  • 30 ATT of Water in the armor, which grants +30 to defense against ATT fire
  • 30 ATT of Water in a helmet, which grants +30 to defense against ATT fire
  • Elemental Protection, +30 to defense against all elements
  • Total: 90 Defense ATT

Character A (attacker) β€” Sorcer:

  • 150 ATT of fire in weapons
  • Seed of Fire, 20 ATT of fire
  • Prominence, 20 ATT of fire.
  • Total: 190 attack ATT

Calculate the damage boost: 190 - 90 = 100. Look at the graph and get +20% to the damage on the target.

Example 3

Noticing the drop in damage, character A also decided to increase attribute damage, now:

  • 150 ATT of fire in the weapon
  • Seed of Fire, 20 ATT of fire
  • Prominence sharpened +13, 41 ATT of fire
  • Surrender To Fire used on target, -30 to defense against fire
    • It's worth noting that Surrender To Fire has some chance of canceling Resist Fire on the target, further increasing the difference between the attacking and defending Attribute
  • Total: 211 attacking ATT and a 30 reduction in the target's Defense Attribute

Character B (target):

  • 30 ATT of Water in armor, which grants +30 to defense against ATT fire
  • 30 ATT of Water in a helmet, which grants +30 to defense against ATT fire
  • Elemental Protection, +30 to defense against all elements
  • Total: 90 attacking ATT

Calculate the damage boost: 211 - (90 - 30) = 151. Let's look at the graph and get +40% to the damage on the target.

Conclusions

  • Inserting Attribute with your equipment is a very important consideration
  • You shouldn't neglect a few units, you should always squeeze out the maximum. Even +1 unit of Attribute can increase or decrease damage by 20%
  • Skill enchanting is equally important, always enchant your Attribute skills to the current level

Attribute and summons

Called servants (summons) receive 100% defense and attack Attribute from their master. Pets (kookaburras, wolves, etc.) do not receive the Attribute from their master.

Skills that increase the Attribute's defense or attack do not work on servants. These skills must be used on the master, so that they affect summoned creatures.

The classes of summoners who transfer the Attribute to a servant:

  • Warlock, Arcana Lord
  • Elemental Summoner, Elemental Master
  • Phantom Summoner, Spectral Master
  • Warsmith, Maestro

Classes of summoners who don't transfer the Attribute to a servant:

  • Paladin, Phoenix Knight
  • Dark Avenger, Hell Knight
  • Necromancer, Soultaker

Attribute information has been added to the servant information window for the convenience of summoners.

Attribute Potion

For extra defense against the elements, you can use special potions:

The potions increase defense against the Attribute by 30 units, the effect's duration is 10 minutes.

Potions can be purchased from Human Yin Attribute Master in Aden, Human Yang Attribute Master in Rune, and Human Yo Attribute Master in Arcane.
