Basics

Talismans — temporary items that enhance the character. Talismans are available to all classes and can be used in PvP and PvE activities. The type of enhancement depends on the talisman. When using a talisman, the character can:

Increase basic stats
Increase resistance to negative effects
Remove negative effects
Use special active skills

The talisman system has been improved on Masterwork: The total number of talismans has been reduced, and unpopular talismans have been combined or removed. Only useful talismans are available on Masterwork.

Simplified purchase of talismans:

All talismans are sold by Butler MW Premium Store Butler for Adena NG and Master Coin NG .
Knight's Epaulette NG and other resources are not required for purchase. Epaulettes are not available on Masterwork.
Talisman randomizing mechanics are removed. Only necessary items can be purchased.

Mechanics

Talismans are equipped in bracelet cells. The number of cells depends on the rank of the bracelet, maximum is 6.

All talismans are personal items and cannot be traded to other characters.

Passive talismans work immediately after equipping them.

Talisman active skill can be used 15 seconds after equipping it in the bracelet slot.

Mana

All talismans have their mana. When the mana reserve drops to zero, the talisman disappears. The current amount of mana is displayed in the talisman description.

Infinity talismans do not have a mana reserve.

Talisman mana cost:

Equipping into a bracelet slot costs 1 mana
Equipped talisman use 1 mana every minute
Using an active skill consumes the amount of mana specified in the talisman description

Talismans merge

Megre Talismans function combines identical talismans into one item. Use this feature to save inventory slots.

The total amount of mana accumulates without penalty and can exceed the original value.

To combine talismans press the Merge Talismans button. Icon are located at the bottom of the inventory window.

Varieties of Talismans

Talismans have various effects and skills and are divided into corresponding groups:

Talismans with active skills have special skill icons
Yellow - passive effects
Black - negative effects removal
White - negative effects resistance

Active

Talismans with active skills.

Talisman active skill can be used 15 seconds after equipping it in the bracelet slot.

Active Talisman - Minimum Clarity NG	Personal Item. Active Skill: Decreases MP consumption for skills by 10% for 5 minutes. Cost: 15 Talisman's MP. Reuse time: 15 min.
Red Talisman of Maximum Clarity NG	Personal Item. Active Skill: Decreases MP consumption for skills by 50% for 90 seconds. Cost: 15 Talisman's MP. Reuse time: 15 min.
Active Talisman - Meditation NG	Personal Item. Active Skill: Decreases P. Def. by 90% and recovers 27 MP every second for 30 seconds. Cost: 15 Talisman's MP. Reuse time: 15 min.
Blue Talisman - Divine Protection NG	Personal Item. Active Skill: Increases P. Def. by 1200 and M. Def. by 900 for 10 sec. Cost: 15 Talisman's MP. Reuse time: 15 min.
Red Talisman - Life Force NG	Personal Item. Active Skill: Regenerate 50% HP and 30% MP. Cost: 30 Talisman's MP. Reuse time: 30 min.

Yellow

Talismans with passive effects.

In addition to standard talismans, infinity talismans are also available. The effects of standard and infinity talismans are identical.

Infinity Passive Talisman - Speed NG	Personal Item. Speed +5 Accuracy +2 Evasion +2. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Infinity Passive Talisman - Regeneration NG	Personal Item. Incoming Heal Power +40 MP Regeneration Bonus +10.00% HP Regeneration Bonus +10.00% CP Regeneration Bonus +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.

Black

Talismans with the active skill, that removes negative effects.

Each black talisman only removes certain negative effects.

The active skill of the black talisman can be used 15 seconds after equipping it in the bracelet slot.

Active Talisman - Rescue NG	When used, it cancels Physical Skill Inability States. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type. This item
Active Talisman - Free Speech NG	Breaks silence. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type. This item

White

Talismans increase resistance to negative effects.

Each white talisman only provides resistance to certain negative effects.

Passive Talisman of Motion 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to Paralysis +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Passive Talisman of Grounding 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to Stun +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Passive Talisman of Attention 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to Sleep +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Passive Talisman of Bandages 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to Bleed +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Passive Talisman of Protection 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to buff-lifting attacks +100%. The Chance of Canceling Buffs cannot be lower than 25%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.
Passive Talisman of Freedom 300 minutes NG	Personal Item. Resistance to Hold +10.00%. Effect does not stack with additional Talismans of the same type.

Bracelets

Bracelets are equipped in a special slot and provide access to talisman slots.

Bracelets differ in rank and number of cells for talismans. Some bracelets have unique properties.

Summon Party Member Lv. 1 summons the selected party member to the character.

To be summoned, both characters must be equipped with a bracelet with the skill and not in combat.
