... Princess Felicia of the Aden royal family was exiled from the kingdom on charges of using dark magic. Accompanied by a personal guard of Cann knights, she was sent north to the labyrinth near the city of Schuttgart, where she was to serve her sentence....
...Gran Kain's gift proved fatal — Felicia could not resist the influence of the Abyss's forces. Darkness captured her heart, and her body turned to ice. The princess became the Ice Queen Freya...
Freya is a raid boss introduced in the Freya Chronicles, known for dropping a unique necklace. In the original game, she appears as an instance zone with two difficulty modes.
On MasterWork Freya is implemented in three types:
Each boss's drop has been reworked and updated for the later stages of the season. Additionally, the entrance to the instance has been simplified — completing the quest chain is no longer required.
To complete the instance zone, you will need special item:
Black Frozen Core
NG
. To obtain, talk to NPC
Jinia
and select the first line.
Frozen Core
NG
. Complete Freya's quest chain
to receive a Frozen Core to replace the Black Frozen Core you spent.

The entrance to Epic Freya is in the eastern part of the Frozen Labyrinth.
Boss respawn starts when NPCs
Kegor
and
Jinia
appear.
30 seconds after their appearance, the boss gatekeeper
Glakias Archery Knight Captain
Lv. 85
spawns in the location.
Kill Glakias to summon NPC
Sirra
, who opens the entrance to Freya's throne room.
Freya will appear 20 minutes after the first player logs in.
The area around the entrance and Freya's throne room are a NoPK zone.
Area of Freezing Core
All characters in Freya's throne room receive a negative effect
Area of Freezing Core
Lv. 1
—
Decreases 30 HP by cold.
The damage from the effect increases over time but resets when the boss's stage changes. However, the negative effect will not deal lethal damage.
Archery Knight
Archery Knight Lv. 85
(Archery Knight) — Freya's defenders. During the boss fight, they randomly appear in
the throne room. The number of knights, their stats, and the spawn rate depend on the difficulty of the instance.
Archer's Breath
Glacier Lv. 85
appear in the center of the hall during the battle.
Archer's Breath Lv. 85
— Freya's assistants.
Summoned by Freya's skill or appear after the Glacier destruction. Self-destruct after a while.
Archer's Breath should be eliminated as quickly as possible, as they use a skill that poses a significant threat to the entire group:
Breath of Ice Palace - Ice Storm
Lv. 1
—
All actions are prohibited, and you lose 115 HP per second.
Frozen Core
To protect yourself from Freya's dangerous ability, you will need special items:
Black Frozen Core disappears after use, Frozen Core has a 20 minutes cooldown.
Using Frozen Core makes party members invulnerable for 15 seconds and allows them to survive the boss's ability:
Eternal Blizzard
Lv. 1
—
Actions prohibited. HP decreases by 115 and MP decreases by 5% per second.
On Blessed Freya, Cores do not protect against Freya's Eternal Blizzard.
Cold Air
During a boss fight, players will periodically receive an additional effect that takes up a buff slot:
Cold Air
Lv. 1
—
Increases P. Def. and M. Def by 15%.
Area of Freezing Core
All characters in Freya's throne room receive a negative effect
Area of Freezing Core
Lv. 1
—
Decreases 30 HP by cold.
The damage from the debuff increases over time, but it does not deal lethal damage.
Archery Knight
Archery Knight Lv. 85
— Freya's guardians. During the boss fight, they randomly appear in the throne room.
The number of knights and the frequency of their appearance are much higher than in the instance zone.
HP | 618 020 | MP | 22 531 |
P.Atk. | 33 637 | M.Atk. | 7 946 |
P.Def. | 1 014 | M.Def. | 1 349 |
EXP | 0 | SP | 0 |
Attack Attribute | Water, 250 | Defence Attribute |
Fire, 150 Water, 250 Wind, 200 Earth, 200 Holy, 200 Unholy, 200 |
Archer's Breath
Glacier Lv. 85
appear in the center of the hall during the battle.
Archer's Breath Lv. 85
— Freya's assistants.
Summoned by Freya's skill or appear after the Glacier destruction. Self-destruct after a while.
Archer's Breath should be eliminated as quickly as possible, as they use a skill that poses a significant threat to the entire group:
Breath of Ice Palace - Ice Storm
Lv. 1
—
Bonfire
Bonfires are placed around the central arena. They remove Freya's negative effect from nearby characters and apply a unique protective effect:
Fireplace
Lv. 1
—
Warmth of this Fireplace defends you against Blizzard.
Boss skill
Reflect Magic
Lv. 1
reflects damage from magic, so be careful when using it.
Freya only uses Reflect Magic at Stage 3.
The monster
Archer's Breath Lv. 85
is dangerous for the entire group — its ability can freeze
characters. It is necessary to destroy Archer's Breath as soon as possible.
The
Archery Knight Lv. 85
does not look dangerous, but if you do not destroy the knights fast,
they can interfere with the battle. Defend yourself by choosing a convenient spot for the battle.
Players often fight Freya at her spawn point rather than in the centre of the hall, as it is easier to defend against knights attacking from all directions.
Eternal Blizzard
Lv. 1
— Freya's ultimate ability can kill the entire party.
A warning message appears on the screen when Freya uses it.
Use Frozen Core when Freya is more than halfway through the spell. Otherwise, the invulnerability effect may end too early.
Frozen Cores cannot be used by a single character repeatedly, so coordinate the order with your group before the battle begins.
Fireplace
Lv. 1
— the effect received from Bonfire on Epic Freya will protect the character
from debuffs and cancel those already in effect. Try to stay close to Bonfire during the fight.
Cold Air
Lv. 1
and other unique effects of Freya take up a buff slot and can
deprive your character of the necessary effects. Freya imposes up to 4 unique effects. Watch the buff slots during the battle.
Freya appears before players seated on an ice throne, with her arrival marked by a cinematic cutscene.
When the boss's health reaches zero, a cutscene is triggered, and the boss battle transitions into Stage 2.
After completing Stage 1, you have 60 seconds to prepare for Stage 2.
After 60 seconds, the Knights of the Frozen Labyrinth appear in the centre of the hall, and after another 60 seconds, Freya's guardian, Glakias, appears, accompanied by a cutscene.
In the Blessed Freya instance, you have 5 minutes to fully complete Stage 2.
When Glakias' health drops to zero, the boss fight moves to Stage 3.
After completing Stage 2, you have 60 seconds to prepare for Stage 3.

When Freya's health drops to 30%, the boss fight enters Stage 4.
Stage 4 begins with a cutscene — Kegor and Jinia join the battle with Freya.
The battle continues without interruption. Freya will restore HP to 30%. You must finish her off.
In the Freya instance zone, players receive 2 additional effects:
In the Blessed Freya instance, players do not receive an additional effect.

Pets gain experience without penalty for the level difference between the owner and the pet.

A level 82 player completed the Blessed Freya instance without experience boosts:
Then he completed the instance a second time, but with boosts:
*Daily Online Reward - reward for the achievement "Daily Online".
*Experience Runes come in two types — +30% and +50%, their bonuses do not stack. When using several runes, the player receives a bonus from the stronger one.
