Kamaloka or "kama" is a temporary zone (instance) for group levelling. In this instance, players will encounter special strong monsters, some of which summon servants. Players may get experience and SP points, enchantment scrolls, full gear, and parts for its creation as the reward.
Kamaloka is available to a group of players from 3 to 7 people.
Talk to the NPC Captain to enter the instance. Captains await adventurers — Gludio, Dion, Heine, Oren, Schuttgart, and Rune. The character level must be within 5 levels of the selected Kamaloka range.
Entrance to Kamaloka is available once a day. The instance updates at 6:30 am server time.
Re-entry is available once per day after using the Extra Entrance Pass - Kamaloka (Hall of the Abyss) NG . You can buy a ticket in the Butler's Game Store and in the Personal Account store.
Please note!
Depending on the concept and stage of the server, only certain levels of Kamaloka may be available
In the 4th season of Masterwork 2023, a new reward for completing Kamaloka has been added:
After the boss dies, this item is given to every player who entered the kamaloka, regardless of their location or state.
The reward will be given to the one who died, and to the one who was in the town at the time of the boss's death, and to the one who was kicked out of the group. The only case when the reward will not be given is when the character is out of the game at the time of the boss's death.
In the 5th season of Masterwork 2024, the drop in kama lokas became personal for each group member. No longer is it necessary to go through kama loka together in order not to share the drop — gather a full group and save your time.
For killing the boss, each party member will receive Booty from Hall of the Abyss, which contain drops from the boss. The chance of items dropping from Booty is reduced proportionally to the maximum party size.
The daily Masterwork Club quests have been eliminated. They were replaced by missions that can't forget to take or turn in — they are automated.

On Masterwork servers, Kamaloka encounters have become more dynamic and varied. Now, bosses from any Kamaloka level can appear. For example, instead of the bear previously found in the level 33 Kamaloka, you might now face a level 46 dragon or a level 63 naga. The bosses’ levels, stats, and loot are all adjusted to match the specific Kamaloka you enter.
All types of bosses, their skills and battle tactics:
A cute cannibal guy is living in Kamaloka. Fighting him is not so much difficult as it is long. He can be defeated by 2 to 3 players of any class. The main thing is to take a couple dozen healing potions with you.

In this instance, you’ll encounter a humanoid dog as the boss. The fight is straightforward, with one key mechanic: the boss will summon a minion. If you kill the minion, the boss will immediately summon another. To simplify the battle, we recommend ignoring the minion entirely and focusing all your damage on the boss.
If your group includes a character with a bow or magic skills, have them aggro the boss at the start and lure it to the wall. This strategy ensures that the minion stays in the centre of the area, minimizing its interference during the fight.
If you have good equipment, the healer is not necessary. Healing potions will be enough.

A crazed zombie bear guards the den, ready to fend off intruders. While it isn’t particularly difficult to defeat, caution is key. The bear occasionally uses a powerful skill that can instantly kill an unwary player. Watch for the moment it freezes in place—this signals the start of its deadly floor-trampling attack. When this happens, quickly retreat to a safe distance and wait for the attack to end. Once it’s safe, return and focus on finishing off the boss.
If you have good equipment, the healer is not necessary. Healing potions will help you out.

An extremely unpleasant, big-eyed guy. Attacks with magic and summons minions. If you don't kill them, their little eyes will stare you in the face.
Wear top D jewellery or take a healer with you. Kill the minions immediately after they appear, and there won't be any difficulties completing the instance.

Flies are always a nuisance, and a giant fly means even bigger trouble. This boss’s main challenge lies in its minions, which start spawning when the boss’s health drops to 60%. These minions heal the boss, and since they are summoned frequently, there’s little point in trying to kill them.
To take down the bothersome Stakato, you’ll need a larger group. The key is to deal damage quickly—this minimizes the number of minions the boss can summon and reduces the amount of health they can restore. A healer with a sleep skill can be invaluable, putting the minions to rest while your group focuses on defeating the boss.
On Masterwork this fly won't cause you any problems - you can easily kill it with any composition.

Fafurion's younger brother stepped up to challenge brave adventurers but underestimated their experience dealing with bold foes. The boss relies on flashy displays and roots as part of its attack pattern. Its damage is magical but weak, making it easy to defeat even with a small group.
If your party has decent jewellery, you can manage without a healer—just be sure to bring healing potions for added safety.

An outcast demon imprisoned in the space between worlds. During his imprisonment, he has squandered his strength and turned to cunning tricks. The boss knocks weapons out of his hands and summons minions that explode after a while, dealing about 500 damage to those around him.

The undead knight will not be happy to see random guests in his abode. The knight has increased Physical and Magical Defense. He does not inflict the greatest damage but regularly summons evil dogs that will bite off a solid piece of your pants.
The tactic comes down to running in a circle - the one whom the Panthers aggro runs in a circle, and the rest of the group kills the boss. If you do everything correctly, the instance will not cause any trouble.

The cunning naga timidly hides a good drop in the instance, but brave travellers will easily cope with the boss's tricks. Not wanting to share, the naga summons minions spending his health. Minions explode 25 seconds after being summoned and restore the master's health. To successfully farm, lead the boss in a circle and quickly kill the minions before they heal the master. When the boss's health becomes low enough, quickly finish him off before he summons a minion again.

The fallen angel is hiding in the dungeons, but there is no escaping the treasure hunters. The angel summons servants and intimidates opponents. Take the boss to the corner and hit him standing with his back to the wall - this way, you won't have to run across the room in fear.

In the final Kamaloka, you’ll face a mysterious creature with unsettling eyes. This boss doesn’t target your health but instead attacks your mind, inflicting debuffs that slow your movement and attack speed. Its minions add to the challenge by casting roots to immobilize players. To handle this fight effectively, bring support characters who can remove debuffs and put the minions to sleep. If your group includes a fighter with a third profession and an S-grade weapon, you can safely ignore the minions and focus on the boss instead.
