Pay Attention!

1. Lu4 is currently in the pre-alpha stage. NPC names and quest item titles may differ from those mentioned in the guide. Some teleportation points might be unavailable.

2. On Lu4, all quest items drop for all party members simultaneously. Collaborating with other players makes the quest easier for all party members.

3. The guides are written with a focus on speed and convenience when completing quests, and Adena costs for teleportation are not important. Ways to save Adena include:

Teleporting short distances. For example, Gludio > Dion > Giran is cheaper than Gludio > Giran directly
Using teleportation scrolls to specific towns, such as Scroll of Escape: Town of Giran NG
Travelling on foot

Quest guide

1. The starting NPC Bandellos Priest is located in the Temple of Giran. Talk to Bandellos to start the quest.

Bandellos will give Report of Perrin NG

2. Teleport to Gludin Village. Exit the village through the north gate. Follow the road west to the north lighthouse of Gludin Harbor. Find Perrin and talk to him.

A quest monster will appear after the conversation:

Tatoma Quest Monster Lv. 32

Kill the monster and talk to Perrin again.

3. Head south, go around the harbor and climb the hill to the southern lighthouse. Find Allana and talk to her.

4.1. Teleport to Gludio. Exit the city through the western gate. Head to the houses in the northwest. Behind one of the houses, find Gupu Father and talk to him.

The choice of the dialogue line in the conversation with Gupu affects the next point of the quest and the reward received! We recommend to refuse the payment of 100,000 Adena by choosing the second line of dialogue:

"Pretend that you did not hear anything."

By choosing the first line, you will lose 100,000 Adena, make the quest harder to complete and significantly reduce the reward!

The next stage depends on the chosen line.

4.2. Talk to Gupu Father again.

4.2. Gupu will give Picture of Windy NG

4.3. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Instead of going inside the cave, head to the center of the Wastelands. Find Windy Shaoring and talk to her.

Windy will give Windy's Pebbles NG

4.4. Return to Gupu Father and talk to him.

Gupu will give Golden Statue NG

5. Teleport to Gludio. Find Sorius Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

Sorius will give Order of Sorius NG

6. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to Orc Barracks and go deeper into the location. Find Daurin Hammercrush and talk to him.

3 quest monsters will appear after the conversation:

Kill all quest monsters and get 1st Secret Letter NG

Talk to Daurin again.

7.1. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Mysterious Dark Elf near the altar and talk to her.

Mysterious Dark Elf will summon three quest monsters:

Kill all quest monsters and get 2nd Secret Letter NG

7.2. Wait for the Mysterious Dark Elf to appear and talk to her. She will summon three quest monsters:

Leto Lizardman Sniper Quest Monster Lv. 36

Kill all quest monsters and get 3rd Secret Letter NG

7.3. Wait for the Mysterious Dark Elf to appear and talk to her. She will summon three quest monsters:

Leto Lizardman Lord Quest Monster Lv. 40
Leto Lizardman Wizard Quest Monster Lv. 39 x 2

Kill all quest monsters and get 4th Secret Letter NG

7.4. Wait for the Mysterious Dark Elf to appear and talk to her.

Mysterious Dark Elf is also located at the altar in the center of the Bloody Swampland. On Masterwork, the NPC does not move between altars. We recommend to complete the quest in the Altar of Rites.

8. Head south along the road from the Altar of Rites. Look for the red tents between the Necropolis of Devotion and the Cloud Mountain Fortress. Find Kristina Saint near the tents and talk to her.

Kristina will give Kristina's Letter NG

9. Teleport to Gludio. Find Sorius Master in the Warriors Guild and talk to him.

When completing the quest by the 100,000 Adena payment line, you must remove Golden Statue NG from the quest inventory to receive the full reward.

10. Teleport to Giran. Find Bandellos Priest in the Temple and talk to him.

Bandellos will complete the quest and give you Mark of Healer NG

If you completed the quest by paying 100,000 Adena and have an Golden Statue NG in your inventory — you will receive a reduced reward:

Exp NG x 134 839
SP NG x 50 000

The amount of experience is almost 10 times lower, and the amount of SP is half the default. Other rewards are without changes. Completing the quest on the paid branch is not recommended for anyone.
