Pay Attention!

1. Lu4 is currently in the pre-alpha stage. NPC names and quest item titles may differ from those mentioned in the guide. Some teleportation points might be unavailable.

2. On Lu4, all quest items drop for all party members simultaneously. Collaborating with other players makes the quest easier for all party members.

3. The guides are written with a focus on speed and convenience when completing quests, and Adena costs for teleportation are not important. Ways to save Adena include:

Teleporting short distances. For example, Gludio > Dion > Giran is cheaper than Gludio > Giran directly
Using teleportation scrolls to specific towns, such as Scroll of Escape: Town of Giran NG
Travelling on foot

Quest guide

To complete the quest, you need the following materials:

Steel NG x 7
Varnish NG x 70
Crystal (D-Grade) D x 70

To save time and money, prepare them in advance.

1. The starting NPC Valkon Warehouse Keeper is located in the Giran Warehouse. Talk to Valkon to start the quest.

Will need to pay 2000 Adena NG

Valkon will give Valkon's Recommendation NG

2. Teleport to Dion. Exit the town through the eastern gate. Head east along the road to the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Mandragora Sprout Lv. 20
Mandragora Sprout Lv. 21
Mandragora Sapling Lv. 23
Mandragora Blossom Lv. 25

Until you get Mandragora Berry NG

You can get the quest item from killed monsters without visiting Talking Island Village. Ignore the quest marker and the mark on the minimap.

3. Teleport to Talking Island Village. Find Altran Blacksmith in the Blacksmith's Shop and talk to him.

Altran will give:

Recipe: Journeyman Ring NG

Find and use Recipe: Journeyman Ring NG in your inventory. This recipe is now registered in your crafting book and allows you to create Journeyman Ring NG . You can open the book using the Dwarven Craft Lv. 1 skill.

4. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Norman Warehouse Keeper in the Warehouse and talk to him.

Norman will give:

5. Teleport to Gludio. Find Pinter Blacksmith in the Forge and talk to him.

Pinter will give Pinter's Instructions NG

Artisan dwarves will additionally receive Recipe: Amber Bead NG . Register the recipe.

6. Teleport from Gludio to Ant Nest. Go inside the cave. Find and kill monsters:

Until you collect Amber Bead NG x 70

Artisan dwarves can receive an additional quest item from killed monsters — Amber Lump NG . Using the previously obtained recipe, you can turn 1 Piece of Amber into 5 Amber Beads.
