Subclasses on Masterwork


Basic information

The subclass system gained a second breath on Masterwork servers. Now you do not need to take the "right" subclass - players can choose an additional class without restrictions and get from it any required skill. Also removed restrictions:

  • Subclasses of Warsmith and Overlord are available to all
  • Subclasses of similar professions are available without restriction (wizards, tanks, archers, daggers, summoners)
  • The Dark Elves may take the Elves professions as a subclass and vice versa. However, the Kamaels may only be taken by the Kamaels.

Only the simplified version of the quest is needed Fate's whisper. The quest is available to characters of level 52 and above. Due to the lower level of the quest, you will have to face new bosses located near the Tower of Insolence.

Stage server development adds some features to the subclass system:

  • Experience and other rates influence on a subclass according to it's level, regardless of the base class level
  • Maximum subclass level increased to 85
  • The first subclass is taken at 52 level after completing the quest
  • Further subclasses are taken after level 55 by current subclass
  • After the appearance of the Kamael race, they can get a subclass by completing a simplified quest
  • Levels, settings and rewards for killing RBs needed for the simplified quest is raised with the stage development. But you'll need that level 52 to take this quest

Pay attention!
Any subclass can be made a basic class. Read more about the class change in the article Donate Shop

The subclass change is available anywhere in the peace zone, no more need to look for a master of the desired guild. Weight limit of inventory no longer affects the possibility ofchanging subclass. To select a subclass or return to the main class, open the character menu (T) and click one of the three subclass cards at the top of the menu.

Skills from subclass

The usual universal passive skills (certification) from the subclass were redesigned and expanded. New skills are added to the game, which do not depend on the type of subclass selected. Each of the three subclasses gets:


New skills (Emergent Ability)

Every 5 levels for each subclass you'll get Certificate - Emergent Ability . Learn the skills you can only beeing on the main class from Avant-Garde Transformation Wizard on the second floor of the Ivory Tower. Effect from the skills is working on the main class and on the subclasses.

Master skills (Master Ability)

On the level 75 each subclass gets Certificate - Master Ability — book that helps to learn special abilities without any subclass restrictions. List of the skills that can be learnt:

Sub-Class Ability – Evasion Lv. 1 Increases Evasion by 4.
Sub-Class Ability – Long Shot Lv. 1 Increases bow range by 100 and crossbow range by 50.
Sub-Class Ability – Mana Gain Lv. 1 Increases the recovery rate of MP.
Sub-Class Ability – Mana Recovery Lv. 1 Increases MP regeneration by 10%.
Sub-Class Ability – Prayer Lv. 1 The effect of receiving HP recovery magic increases by 6%.
Sub-Class Ability – Resist Trait Lv. 1 Increases the resistance to Paralysis/Hold/Sleep/shock/buff cancel attack by 5%.
Sub-Class Ability – Haste Lv. 1 Has a 2% chance to increase Atk. Spd. by 32% while attacking (melee and range attacks). Excludes damage caused by a skill.
Sub-Class Ability – Defence Lv. 1 Has 2% chance to increase P. Def./M. Def by 24%, while being attacked.
Works simultaneously with the chance effect from Sub-Class Ability – Barrier.
Sub-Class Ability – Critical Chance Lv. 1 Has 2% chance to increase Critical Rate by 32% while attacking.
Sub-Class Ability – Mana Steal Lv. 1 Has a chance to recover MP while attacking.
Sub-Class Ability – Barrier Lv. 1 Has 2% chance to grant invincibility while being attacked.
Works simultaneously with the chance effect from Sub-Class Ability – Defence.

Sub-Class Ability – Boost CP Lv. 1 Max CP is increased by 738.
Sub-Class Ability – Anti-magic Lv. 1 The probability of resisting magic damage is increased by 5%.
Sub-Class Ability – Divine Protection Lv. 1 Resistance to darkness/divinity Attribute attacks is increased by 5.
Sub-Class Ability – Resist Critical Lv. 1 Received Critical Damage is decreased by 5%.
Sub-Class Ability – Resist Attribute Lv. 1 Increases the resistance to elemental attacks by 5.
Sub-Class Ability – Heal Lv. 1 Has a chance to recover HP while being attacked.
Sub-Class Ability – Spirit Lv. 1 Has 2% chance to channel the soul of an ancient spirit when being attacked: Insreases Physical and Magic Atk. Spd and damage by 8%.

Transformation skills (Transform Ability)

On the level 80 each subclass gets Certificate - Transform Ability allows to learn Divine Transformation that doesn't depend on the subclass choice. For the transformation learning you don't need the quest on it.

Pay attention!
Transformation skills are studied separately from basic skills. Now you don't need to cancel all your skills to take another transformation.

You can cancel transformation skills and get books again only once every 7 days.

Ignores Shield Defence.
Over-hit is possible.

Divine Warrior War Cry Lv. 1
Increases P. Atk. by 25%. (Analogue of War Cry)

Sacrifice Warrior Lv. 1
Sacrifices oneself to increase P. Atk. of all party members by 20%. Available only when HP is under 30%. (Analogue of Party War Cry)

Divine Knight Stun Attack Lv. 1
Cause damage and shock together at the same time. Make the enemies shocked momentarily.
Over-hit is possible. Power 1162.
(Rush + Stun)

Divine Knight Thunder Storm Lv. 1
Inflicts shock and damage to the enemies nearby at the same time. Instantly makes nearby enemies shocked.
Ignores Shield Defence.
Over-hit is possible. Power 775.
(AoE Stun)

Divine Knight Ultimate Defence Lv. 1
Instantly and drastically increases resistance to P. Def./M. Def., buff cancel attacks. The player cannot move while the effect lasts.

Sacrifice Knight Lv. 1
Increases P. Def. of the party members by sacrificing yourself. Available only when HP is under 30%. (Party Ultimate Defense)

Divine Wizard Surrender to Divine Lv. 1
Instantly decrease resistance to Divinity, and increase resistance to Darkness.

Sacrifice Wizard Lv. 1
Increases party member's M. Atk. by sacrificing yourself. Usable only when MP is under 10%.

Restores the servitor's HP by 991 power.

Sacrifice Summoner Lv. 1
Increases the party member's critical abilities by sacrificing yourself. Usable only when MP is under 10%.

Divine Beast Bite Lv. 1
Bite ferociously with sharp teeth.

Divine Beast Stun Attack Lv. 1
Stun and damage enemy. Over-hit is available. Power 704.

Divine Beast Fire Breath Lv. 1
Attack an enemy by breathing fire. Power 875.

Divine Beast Roar Lv. 1
Dominate nearby enemies with a mighty roar.


Divine Healer
